About Stanislav Kochergin
Early childhood interest in ballroom dancing for Stanislav Kochergin had grown into an important part of his life. A great desire to achieve his goals and many hours of rehearsals and practices paid with one of the top three places in every competition he had attended starting from the age of 8 until Today. Stanislav began his teaching by passing his knowledge to his student fellows while helping his trainers. And continued to develop his teachers skills by attending to many Dance Seminars in Ukraine, Russia, Baltic republics, Poland and also in Slovenia. After four years of mastering his Choreographic skills in Teachers University in Kharkiv, Ukraine he moved to Canada. Numerous successful competitions in Canada made Canadians familiar with this outstanding dancer.
In June 2008 Stanislav auditioned for the first Canadian version of the popular dance show "So You Think You Can Dance" and was selected as a finalist. He decided not to participate but had he continued with the competition, Canadians would surely have become even more familiar with him!
